Surf La Paloma

La Paloma - Los Acantilados, Argentina La Paloma features powerful reef waves breaking both right and left over flat rocks. Access is via a steep descent from the cliff, located along Ruta 11 towards Miramar. The spot is known for its challenging entry and is suitable for experienced surfers. Situated about 20-25 minutes from the town center, La Paloma offers a scenic backdrop of dramatic cliffs. The crowd is generally low during the week, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed surf session. However, weekends can get crowded. The best conditions occur from April to May and November to December, with a northeast wind and southeast swell. Surfers should be cautious of the rocky bottom and avoid turning their backs to the ocean. A shortboard is recommended for optimal performance in the powerful waves.
