Surf Inside Addis

Inside Addis - Point Addis Inside Addis features a right-hand beach break with a sandy bottom interspersed with rocks. The wave is generally of ordinary power and works best at low to mid tide, particularly during falling tide conditions. Swell directions from the southwest, south, and southeast are optimal for surfable waves. This spot offers a less crowded alternative to nearby Torquay, especially on weekdays. Access is straightforward via the Point Addis car park, followed by a short 5-15 minute walk down the Ironbark Track. On good days, the point break produces enjoyable rides as sets roll around Point Addis. While the atmosphere can be lively with surf schools and dog walkers, it’s advisable to be cautious of rips and undertow. If conditions aren’t favorable at Inside Addis, nearby spots like Mangoes or Southside often provide rideable waves.
