Surf Fenway

Fenway - Westerly, Rhode Island Fenway features a breakwater/jetty wave that breaks both right and left over a sandy bottom. The spot can handle substantial swell, particularly during low and mid tides, with optimal conditions occurring on a rising tide. Wind from the northeast enhances the surf experience, but caution is advised due to rips and undertow. This fun surf spot is located on the private side of Weekapaug beachway, accessible via a short 5-15 minute walk from a dirt parking lot. While it offers good wind protection and air sections on the inside, it can become crowded on weekends. Surfing is prohibited between 10 AM and 6 PM unless using a soft top. Jumping off the jetty is a popular option due to the lack of a channel. Be mindful of the private beach and man-made hazards like buoys while enjoying the waves.
