Surf Crescent bay

Crescent Bay - Laguna Beach Crescent Bay features a beach break with both right and left waves, characterized by hollow and powerful conditions. The ideal swell direction is between 260° (WSW) and 280° (WNW), with low tide being essential for optimal wave shape. The bottom consists of sandy areas interspersed with rocks, making it a dynamic surf spot. This location is easily accessible, with less than a 5-minute walk from parking. The best surfing conditions occur during the summer, while late winter and spring offer the most favorable wave form. Surfers should be cautious of urchins and watch for marine life like seals and dolphins. Although the spot can get crowded on weekends, weekdays typically see fewer surfers, allowing for a more relaxed session.
