Surf Cala Cipolla

Cala Cipolla - Chia, Sardegna Cala Cipolla features a fun beach break with both right and left waves, set over a sandy bottom interspersed with rocks. The spot works well at all tides and is best with swells from the West, SouthWest, South, and SouthEast, while the ideal wind direction is from the NorthWest. Located about 50 km southwest of Cagliari, this picturesque surf spot near Chia is known for its relaxed atmosphere and limited crowd, accommodating no more than 10 surfers at a time. While it can get crowded on weekends, weekdays offer a more tranquil experience. The waves can become steep and powerful, especially when conditions align. Access is easy, with a short walk from a paid parking area 500 meters away. Although it lacks high consistency, when the waves are good, expect a lively lineup, making it a great spot for both short and long boards.
