Surf Balian

Balian - Bali Balian features a reef break with both left and right waves, characterized by flat rocks at the bottom. The waves are generally ordinary in power and work well at all tides. Access is straightforward, with a short walk of 5-15 minutes from parking. This spot is known for its long, well-shaped lefts, which often outperform the rights. Early morning sessions are recommended to avoid onshore winds that typically pick up around 11:00 AM. Surfers should be cautious of the current, which pulls to the right; it's best to paddle out and then navigate left after about 50 meters offshore. The effort is rewarded with lengthy rides, making Balian a beautiful and less crowded gem on the Indonesian coast.
