The launch site can be challenging depending on the orientation (rocky terrain). Depending on the weather, launching from the summit meadow is also possible.
Vorder Glärnisch is located near Glarus (local mountain). However, the ascent starts from Netstal, the neighboring village of Glarus.
Flight: Landing options include Glarus and Hinter Saggberg (near Klöntalersee).
