frequently used. wonderful flying in medium or strong N winds - but taking off from here requires some experience, patience, and rugged material. Of course you alternatively can try to kite up - but below the wind often is not strong enough for that, and the way up is not very even.

Start schwierig. Trotzdem Empfehlung: nicht oben auf der Kante starten.
Hier, Hangstartplatz mit Geröll - sehr sicheres Groundhandling notwendig, am besten hochkiten und rückwärts rausfliegen (ist aber wegen Luvstau oft schwierig) - oder bei sehr viel Wind östlich "Parkplatz" am Weg Richtung pueblo nur wenig hochkiten und Richtung Strand raus. Aber achtung, bei letzterer Option muss der Wind wirklich ausreichend sein - man startet dann praktisch direkt an der Wasserkante.

Option 1) half-way up to the ridge: (very) small, partially cleared, rocky field.
Option 2) on top of the ridge: 10-15min hike up.
