Description
Located in the Wenatchee region of the USA, this paragliding site offers a launch elevation of 1069 meters with a height difference of approximately 844 meters. Though it is not frequently used, it provides opportunities for thermalling and cross-country (XC) flying.
To reach the launch site, drive up Birch Mountain as far as possible and then walk a few hundred feet. The launch is west-facing, situated above Nahum Canyon. The site record for distance is 54.1 km.
