Description
Located at an elevation of 1036 meters with a height difference of approximately 500 meters, this site serves as a reference point for cross-country flights from the Rofan Mountains into the Zillertal Valley. It is particularly appealing early in the season as a launch site, even when the cloud base is low. During summer afternoons, it can be pleasant for evening flights if the wind is light, although the valley wind often becomes too strong by the afternoon.
Accessible by car, this site is regularly used and offers the possibility for cross-country flights. Top landing is also possible.
