Located in Paesana, Italy, this paragliding site offers a takeoff altitude of 1480 meters above sea level and a height difference of 1100 meters. The site is frequently used and is known for its good soaring conditions and potential for cross-country (XC) flights. The flying season typically runs from March to September.
The main takeoff point, Decollo Alberto Togno, is situated in the locality of Rucas. The landing zone is at Via Maddalena in Bagnolo Piemonte. To reach the landing area, drive from Bibiana, pass the Villaretto hamlet, and turn right onto Via Maddalena at the Catholic chapel, opposite a large building materials warehouse. Continue for a few hundred meters to the spacious landing area.

The takeoff area faces 140° and is approximately 1480 meters in altitude, with a theoretical glide ratio of 5.5. This is the primary takeoff used for high-level competitions. Access is via a scenic 12 km asphalt road from Bagnolo Piemonte, passing through Montoso and continuing to the Rucas ski facilities. Large antennas above the takeoff are visible after Montoso. After the hairpin turn below the antennas, continue for 200 meters and take the dirt road on the left leading to the antenna parking area. The grassy slopes to the south are used for takeoff, suitable for both hang gliders and paragliders. The site is flyable year-round but is not recommended for less efficient gliders. Top landing is possible on the large meadows behind the takeoff, weather permitting.
Important: Low-altitude overflight of the numerous stone quarries in the area is strictly prohibited.
Pilots typically meet at the landing zone around 1:00 PM, and a shuttle service to the takeoff is usually available on weekends.
