Paragliding Red Mountain, BC

At an altitude of approximately 1580 meters with a height difference of around 550 meters, this paragliding site is regularly used, especially outside the ski season. Spring, summer, and autumn are the best times to visit. The site offers good thermalling conditions and the possibility for small cross-country flights. However, pilots should be cautious of the airspace above. There are multiple takeoff options available to accommodate different wind directions. Despite being much lower than Granite Mountain, this hill is a preferred choice among pilots.
