Rainbow Ridge, located just north of Reno, USA, offers an elevation of 1701 meters with a height difference of 150 meters. This site is occasionally used and is known for its easy thermal soaring and small cross-country flights. There are three possible takeoff points, with the main one being the most frequently used. Toplanding is possible and considered easy. The site is accessible by a 2WD vehicle. The site is unregulated, but it is recommended for H3 pilots or H2 pilots with an instructor. Be aware that there are two 'Rainbow Ridge' sites in the US, and this one is considered the better option.
