Petit Mont Bonvin is a paragliding site located in the Valais region of Switzerland, near the town of Aminona, which is part of the renowned Crans-Montana area. This site offers a variety of high alpine flying opportunities, particularly appealing in both summer and winter. The launch site is situated near the summit restaurant and features a large grassy area, making it an ideal spot for takeoff.
The launch direction is primarily south to southwest. The site is accessible via a gondola from Aminona to Petit Mont Bonvin, followed by a 10-minute walk to the launch area. The launch site itself is a steep grassy slope with some rocky sections.
Be cautious of the strong valley winds that can make flying challenging. It is advisable to avoid flying in northerly wind conditions.
