The Schriesheim/Ölberg site is an attractive flying area located at the edge of the Odenwald. With west winds, soaring for hours is sometimes possible. However, several conditions must be observed. The approach path to Mannheim Airport is directly above the launch site, and entering this sector is strictly prohibited.
Take-off: Familiarization is required and is a must-have. Access is only allowed via shuttle bus or by walking.
