The site at Neuberg, located above Odernheim in Germany, offers a serene paragliding experience with a height of 258 meters and a height difference of 121 meters. It is regularly used for soaring and thermal flying, with cross-country flights possible. Top landing is also an option here. The area is known for its scenic beauty, making even a simple glide worthwhile. The launch and landing sites are straightforward and suitable for both paragliders and hang gliders. For those who prefer a quieter experience, this site is less frequently flown. Parking is available in Duchroth, opposite the cemetery, from where you will need to walk up to the launch site. Please note that this site is only accessible to club members and requires an A-License for flying. The flight operations must be coordinated with the flight management in Bad Sobernheim on the frequency 118.925 MHz or by calling 06751/2307. If the flight management is not available, you must report to the DAeC Luftsportverband Rheinland Pfalz at 06751/2308. The operation must be documented in the flight log of the Gleitschirmverein Nahe-Glan e.V., and a start leader must be reachable via flight radio. The maximum flight altitude is 1300 ft MSL (approximately 430 meters) within the motor flight circuit of Bad Sobernheim airfield. A maximum of five paragliders are allowed in the air simultaneously. The site is managed by Gleitschirmverein Nahe-Glan e.V. and is ideal for east wind conditions. The launch meadow is spacious and also suitable for ground handling practice. Coordination with Nahe-Glan e.V. is required for flight operations.
