Description
Located opposite Czarna Góra in Poland, this paragliding site offers a height difference of over 400 meters. The take-off area, known as "W," is mostly bald, allowing for launches even with significant wind deviations. However, it is a challenging spot with limited space for a run-up (approximately 5 meters) and a steep drop-off. If your wing isn't overhead at the edge, it's best to abort the launch to avoid injury. This site is generally suitable for only one glider at a time and is rarely used, mainly for short flights.
There are four landing areas:
1. Fallow land directly in front of the take-off.
2. A meadow near "Raj pstrąga" (Trout Paradise), which is often grazed by cows that are curious about gliders.
3. Fallow land behind "Raj pstrąga."
4. An emergency landing spot near a forester's lodge, which is difficult to land on due to strong lift.
Access to the site is via Stronie Śląskie, turning left towards Bielice after the Goszów sign, then right after a small bridge. Park at the "Raj pstrąga" parking lot and walk back a bit before taking a right onto a dirt road. The hike to the forester's lodge takes about 20 minutes, followed by another 40-70 minutes to the take-off, depending on your fitness level.
