The flying site is regularly used and offers good thermal soaring conditions. It is important to follow the local rules. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE FLYING SITE: Steinkjer Hangglider Club has an agreement with the landowner to use the site during the growing season. The landowner has stipulated in the contract that only members of the Steinkjer Hangglider Club can use the site during this period. After the harvest season, the site is open to everyone. The landowner has entrusted Steinkjer Hangglider Club with the responsibility of informing about these conditions. Respect is required. For questions, please contact the club's board. Directions: Turn off from E6 at Mæresmyra before Sparbu (there is a sign) and drive approximately 2-3 km. You will find the launch site on the left side on a hilltop.
