Description
Løkken, located in North Jutland, Denmark, is a well-known paragliding site that offers excellent soaring conditions and the possibility for coastal cross-country flights. The site allows for takeoff either from the beach or from higher elevations, providing flexibility depending on wind conditions.
For beginners, Løkken is particularly accommodating. If the wind is weak, you can start from the higher ground. When the wind is stronger, around 25 km/h, launching from the beach is also straightforward.
Please note that during the spring, birds nest in the dunes, and there is a no-fly zone from July 1st to September 1st south of the Furreby parking area due to local regulations.
