Description
Located at an elevation of 1734 meters, this paragliding site is rarely used. It is suitable for walk & fly, with options for both gliding and soaring. The launch areas of Kamor and Hoher Kasten West merge into each other, providing multiple takeoff options.
The site is situated on the western side of the peak, with launch directions ranging from south through west to north. However, be cautious of potential Föhn winds when launching towards the south, as the calm conditions in the lee of Hoher Kasten can be deceptive.

Launching towards the west is done on moderately steep meadows. It is not recommended during strong winds due to the venturi effect.
