Description
At an altitude of 1970 meters with a height difference of 1400 meters, this launch site is regularly used and offers an exceptionally beautiful take-off point. It is a 10-minute walk east from the mountain hut. Unlike busier locations such as Greifenburg or Sillian, this site provides a more tranquil experience.
This site is excellent for cross-country (XC) flights, especially from late spring to autumn.

The Hochstein launch site is rarely used. The Bruno Girstmair Paragliding School often organizes breakfast flights here.
