This site is regularly used for soaring and offers various takeoff options. It supports takeoffs in all wind directions, with the best wind directions being East, South-Southwest, and North-Northwest. Access to the top is only possible with a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The road is gated, so you will need to contact club members for a key. Please be mindful of hikers and livestock on the way.
Before and after flying, you must notify the Bringeland control tower at the following numbers: +47 57 71 79 07 or +47 57 71 79 08. The designated landing area is the training field/football field north of Øyrane Videregående Skole. During the growing season, avoid unnecessary trampling in the surrounding fields. Alternative landing areas are available at Hafstad and Bruland.
