Description
The launch site at 1506 meters is rarely used and has limited information available. Flights are permitted only from October 1st to April 30th. Coordinates are not confirmed.
Access is via the municipal road towards Greit. Note that there is no parking available, so you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to the launch site. The path is a forest trail that branches off steeply to the left from the municipal road about 500 meters after the first house in the hamlet of Greit, roughly 20 meters before the first right-hand curve in Greit.
Launching is only possible with west winds. Be cautious of the valley wind, as even moderate valley winds can create significant rotor turbulence at the launch site.
