Description
At an altitude of 2979 meters, this launch site is occasionally used for gliding flights over the Bernina massif and glaciers during winter. It is one of the most accessible and straightforward launch sites in the area.
Optimal wind direction: West
This flying area is suitable for flights when there is snow. One of the highlights of the winter season is flying under the full moon.
We recommend scouting the landing zones at the valley station and Morteratsch train station beforehand due to cables.
