Description
Dewdney Bench, located in the Fraser Valley, Canada, is an excellent site for both beginner and experienced paraglider pilots. With an elevation of 364 meters and a height difference of 360 meters, it offers a good, flat takeoff zone that is easy to access. The site is regularly used for training and thermal soaring, with some potential for cross-country (XC) flights.
The takeoff area is spacious and safe, making it ideal for student training. The site is flyable most of the year due to its low altitude and minimal snowfall in winter. Toplanding is possible, adding to the site's versatility.
