The launch site is a steep meadow. From Silenen, take the aerial cableway to Chilcherbergen. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the launch site. The path initially leads through a ravine and then steeply ascends to the launch site.
You will need to invest about 15 minutes walking from the mountain station to the launch site. The take-off is quite steep!
Access: Amsteg is directly on the Gotthard road, with full access to the National Road N2. From Amsteg to Bristen, there is an asphalt mountain road that is easily navigable by car. A post bus operates on the route Amsteg Post-Bristen-Talstation Golzern cable car. Taxis are available. Parking is available in Amsteg and Bristen, as well as at the Golzern and Arni cable cars.
