Description
Cà del Monte is located on Monte Penola between Valle Staffora and Valle Curone, in the municipality of Cecima (PV), Italy. This paragliding site features a vertical drop of 300 meters, with two take-off points and one landing area.
Flights are best with winds coming from the South-West (old take-off) and West-Northwest (new take-off). The site is easily accessible, with a recovery time of no more than 15 minutes on paved roads. Due to its convenience and location, it has become a popular meeting point for many paragliders. From here, you can reach higher take-offs in the Apennines across the four regions of Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria, and Emilia Romagna.
Directions:
- From Turin (A21 TO-PC) or Verona - Brescia - Bologna via Piacenza: Take the A21 TO-PC motorway and exit at Voghera. Head towards Varzi, Val Staffora. After Godiasco, turn right towards Cecima and follow the signs for Serra del Monte and Agriturismo Cà del Monte.
- From Milan and Genoa (A7 MI-GE): Take the A7 MI-GE motorway and exit at Tortona. Head towards Caldirola, Val Curone. At Brignano Frascata, turn left towards Serra del Monte and follow the signs for Agriturismo Cà del Monte.
