Description
A beautiful spot with stunning views over Nordfjord. Launch from the top of Bergsetnakken on Fjelli. Drive to the north side from Stryn (pass by Blakset) and follow the road to Fjelli. Turn off towards Nordfjord Fritidssenter, and follow the paved road until you reach a toll road (20 NOK) on the left side. Follow this road up to Bergsetstøylen. Park at the trail marked Bergsetnakken. It takes about 1-1.5 hours to hike up. The main launch direction is south, but it is also possible to launch towards south-southwest and south-southeast. You can soar on the west side of the peak, but be cautious of rotor from Heida. Landing is at Mattismyrane near the main road. Contact landowner Oddvar Bergset for permission.
