This site is frequently used and offers thermal soaring opportunities. Cross-country flights are possible, and top landing above the launch area is also feasible.

Access and Location: From Barcelona, you can reach Montblanc by taking the AP7-AP2 combination. Once you exit at Montblanc, head towards Tàrrega via the C-14. Just before reaching Km52, take a well-maintained track on the right that leads directly to the launch site (about 700 meters).
Qualities: The site offers thermal ridge soaring and sea breeze (marinada) in the afternoon. Midday thermals can reach altitudes of 400 to 600 meters, while afternoon thermals are lower due to the cooling effect of the sea breeze. Top landing is possible. The afternoon flight allows you to explore the long ridge from Forés to nearly Senan, providing hours of enjoyable flying.
Precautions: Midday conditions can become quite strong due to the combination of valley breeze and sea breeze. Do not take off in winds exceeding 25 km/h. Be cautious and fly in front of the ridge, especially near the old launch area, as it can create a venturi effect.
Belltall Landing Zone: Altitude 620-630 meters
The Belltall landing zone is one of the fields near the launch that is not cultivated and is adjacent to the road leading to Sarral (T-233). To access it from the launch, return to the C-14 and descend to Km 51. At the junction, turn left towards Sarral (T-233) and continue descending for about 3 kilometers until you reach the valley fields.
