Description
Located between 'Isaba' and 'La Pierre St Martin', near the border, this paragliding site offers flights along the cliffs. The maximum take-off altitude is 1843 meters with a southern orientation. The height difference is approximately 350 meters, with a maximum elevation gain of 880 meters.
Access is straightforward: from Pamplona, take the C-137 towards France, pass through Isaba, and ascend the mountain pass for 5 km. After passing the military barracks and before reaching the Angel Oloron refuge, park your car. From there, you can either head to the Yegüaceros take-off point on the right or hike up to Lácora, which takes about 45 minutes. There are many possibilities along the way.
Landing in the valley is generally not a problem. The site is regularly used, and some cross-country (XC) flights are possible. The site record is 112.3 km.
