This site is known for its challenging conditions and is rarely used. It is primarily suitable for coastal soaring, with some cross-country (XC) potential for experienced pilots. However, it is important to note that there are no alternative landing sites nearby. The closest options are Whale Beach or Avalon, which are 1-2 kilometers away. Due to the difficulty of this site, it is crucial to familiarize yourself with the local conditions by consulting with a local pilot. Even with a well-thought-out flight plan, the wind can change rapidly, making it difficult to maintain safe flying conditions.
