Due to the mountains on the south side and the gap between Corsica and Sardinia, that reinforces and redirects winds from any easterly direction, Vignola has stronger and more stable wind than any other beach on the north shore. Winds from the West are slightly gusty, choose Marina delle Rose at 4 km distance as alternative spot.

Extra: During high season in July and August the beach is really crowded, leave 100 meters distance from the beach for swimmers and use the marked entrance/exit for starting kites. You need a helmet an a lifejacket because the Coast Guards are sometimes there.
