No real tide. A reef about half a mile out so it's pretty flat. You can get outside of the reef for some good swell. Beach type & size: Sand - Big Infos: Long white sand beach. There is a peer where catamarans load up, but other than that empty beautiful beaches. There is all the space you could want. Beachgoer: None Weather specificities: The weather is great year round. Hot in the summer. Beautiful in the winter. When it's cold it gets to about 75F. Wind type: Trade Wind specificities: The windy season is from November through April. Normally the wind comes from the Northeast which is sideshore here. When the Southeasterly hit it is onshore, but since there is a point to the side, you have very easy and safe launching and landing. Normally between 10-20 knots. Best months: January, February, March, April, November, December Access description: by Car - Drive from Playa del Carmen towards Cancun for about 12 kilometers. You will see some flags and billboards for a restaurant on the highway. Turn right at the sign and follow the dirt road to the beach.
