Wind specificities: 6 days out of 7 have 15-25 knot sea breeze during summer season. Best on Southwest sea breeze. Summer is the best time to kite in Perth. Summer starts in December and finishes in March. During the summer Perth gets the infamous 'Fremantle Doctor', 'the most consistent wind in the world, making it ideal kitesurfing conditions. It's just like clockwork, coming in between noon and 3pm. Giving you somewhere between 15-25 knots (average) a day. You maybe able to get some days in during the winter time, however with strong, gusty, and squally winds.

Access description: by Car - From Perth travel west along Mounts Bay Road. Turn left (South) onto Hampden Road, then left (East) onto Princess Road. Look for the car park on the right hand side about 500m along.

Extra: Not suited for the total novice as trees line the shore down wind, requires basic skills. The area around the 'wildlife migration protection zone' is a no kite zone thus requires you to be able to stay up wind in the gusty conditions that rain kind there.
