Infos: Gets deep very fast, after about 5-10 meters. Inside of the bay from flat to chop to real waves depending where you start. Waves are pretty clean and can get up to 2 meters. Outside the bay rolling waves up to 3 meter when we were there. Further down not a beginner spot, further up flat water behind the pier. Watch out for sailboats that are in the bay.
Beach type & size: Sand - Small
Infos: Not a beginners spot to start and launch. Beach looks really nice, soft sand and when not near water plenty of space, lots of parasols though. You can launch in the quiet area behind the sunbathers and then walk through them to water, launching from water because of the fact that water gets deep fast not an option.

Wind type: Thermal, Frontal
Wind specificities: Wind directions are West or East to Northeast with only slight variations. Due to the mountains on the south side and the gap between Corsica and Sardinia, that reinforces and redirects winds from any easterly direction, Vignola has stronger and more stable wind than any other beach on the north shore. Winds from the West are slightly gusty, choose Marina delle Rose at 4 km distance as alternative spot.
Best months: March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October
