Access description: by Boat - Fly to Luanda. Catch a ride to Capo Soka (Candongero), it is a marina on the south side of town. Before you get there, you will be on a bluff looking down on the island. You'll see the bays and points and know where you'd like to go from there. At the marina, you can hire or jump into a shuttle boat that can bring you to any point on the island. By boat - 1km across the entrance to the Mussulo Bay - strong currents. Get boats from the jetty beneath the Sol-y-mar hotel and the Exxon housing complex, 5kms south of Lunada on the Samba road.

Infos: Shallow sand bars which cause the pretty big swells to break. You get long waves that you could ride for several hundred meters. The water is kind of creepy, very clear, you can see all the way to the bottom (several meters deep) and all you see are huge ripples in the sand (almost dunes) and lots of big fish moving around.
