Infos: Its the best place for beginners and intermediate kiters, who would like to learn new tricks, because its a nature lagoon in between the island and the mean land and its shallow water.

Infos: No hazards on the island side.

Weather specificities: Air temperature is around 25-30C in summer. In winter as low as 10C and if you catch a sunny day as high as the 20'sC. Water warm enough to wear shorts in summer (use sun protection). Wetsuit (2/3mm) for the winter. Most probably you can kite all year round.

Wind specificities: Best time in winter and fall because most of the time the wind is coming from WNW.

Access description: by Car, Boat - It is located at the west side of Tripoli, about 100km from Tripoli about 1:30 hour away. Better during weekends and vacations. You have two options, you can do kitting from the main land, or you can rent a boat to drop you to the island, which costs 15 Euro both ways.

Extra: The island is a nice place for camping, if you got two days wind, you can stay there for the night. Or you can stay in the hotel, there is small hotel in the main land and its cheap.

Nightlife: In the summer there is a lot of nightlife but you can not compare with e.g. Europe. During winter and during the Ramadan there is absolutely nothing.
