This surf spot works at all tides, benefiting from rising and falling tide movements. Access is easy, with a walk of less than 5 minutes from the nearest parking area. Located in Donegal, Tullan Strand stretches nearly two kilometers and can catch waves with minimal swell due to its strategic position in Donegal Bay. The best peaks are found near Roughey Cliff, where waves can create a mix of surfable lines. While the main wave offers fun lefts and short rights, the beach provides various peaks suitable for different skill levels. The local surf scene is friendly, with few surfers on weekdays and weekends, making it an excellent spot for both beginners and seasoned surfers. However, be cautious of rips and undertow, which can pose dangers in certain conditions.
