The lively atmosphere can lead to crowded lineups on weekends, while weekdays see fewer surfers. The waves are particularly appealing to bodyboarders due to their fast, hollow nature, and the shallow reef can create challenging conditions on bigger days. Supertubes works well at all tides, with a preference for rising tide, and is best enjoyed with winds from the south, southeast, east, or northeast. Be cautious of the rocks, as they pose a danger in the water.
