Sunset Beach - Dubai Sunset Beach features a sandbar wave that breaks both right and left, offering a mix of powerful, ordinary, and fun conditions. The bottom is sandy, and the best surf occurs during low and mid tides, particularly with a falling tide. Access is easy, located just off Jumeirah Beach Road, with instant access within 5 minutes. The atmosphere at Sunset Beach is friendly, with no localism as long as surfers show respect. While good days are rare, when conditions align, the surf can be exceptional. A notable rip current aids paddling out, located about 150 meters to the left of the beach. Be cautious of rips and man-made hazards like buoys. Weekdays see fewer surfers, but weekends can get crowded. Always check conditions before heading out, especially on larger days, as the surf can be challenging.
