Access involves a short walk from parking near Oxwich, making it relatively easy to reach. While Slade Bay can deliver decent surf when conditions align, it is known for its inconsistency. The beach has experienced some sand depletion, which may affect wave quality. Despite being less crowded during the week and weekends, surfers should be cautious of rips and undertow.
