The spot is accessible via a short walk (5-15 minutes) from the township, located approximately 45 km south of Trujillo.
This majestic wave can stretch over 1.5 km, offering an exhilarating ride when conditions align. Protected from E to SSW winds, it provides a versatile surfing experience. Despite its stunning quality, Puerto Morin remains relatively uncrowded, as many surfers flock to nearby spots like Mancora and Chicama.
