Surf Noncom

Noncom - South Africa This right-hand sandbar wave breaks over a sandy bottom with rocks, delivering hollow and fast conditions. It is best surfed at low tide, particularly during rising and falling tides. The spot is located within the Cape Recife Reserve, accessible via a short walk of 5-15 minutes from the parking lot. When it works, Noncom offers an uncrowded and majestic surfing experience, surrounded by pristine coastline and nature reserves. The take-off is critical, allowing surfers to hold the bottom to middle line for a chance at a round barrel. Although the wave is fickle and has struggled with bank formation in recent years, it can produce exceptional surf when conditions align. Be mindful of potential dangers such as rips, undertow, and local wildlife.
