Margaret Rivermouth - Western Australia Margaret Rivermouth features a beach break with both right and left waves over a sandy bottom. The wave is known for its fast and fun characteristics, making it suitable for surfers of all levels. It works at all tides, with optimal conditions during a rising tide and favorable winds from the southeast, east, and northeast. Located just off Prevelly Road, access is instant, taking less than five minutes on foot. The wave varies with the seasons; in winter, it breaks off the rocks, creating a nice right-hander, while summer sees it breaking in the middle of the beach with a long left and a closeout right. Expect a crowded scene on weekends, but fewer surfers during the week. Be cautious of rips, undertows, and rocks while enjoying this fun surf spot.
