Surf Little Rincon

Little Rincon - Mussel Shoals, California Little Rincon is a right-hand point break characterized by fast and fun waves over a boulder bottom. Located just south of the oil pier leading to Rincon Island, Little Rincon offers a more relaxed atmosphere compared to its neighbor, Rincon. It features two main peaks, with the first under the pier being more competitive but offering larger waves. Access is straightforward from Highway 101, with parking available on nearby streets, though it can be limited. Surfers should be cautious of rocks and should consider the tidepool near the hotel for exit options. While not as consistent as Rincon, it can provide enjoyable sessions, especially during winter swells, making it a great alternative for those seeking less crowded waves.
