Surf La Torchere

La Torchere - Le Cap Ferret La Torchere features a beach break with both right and left-hand waves over a sandy bottom. The waves are known for being hollow, fast, and fun, making it an exciting spot for surfers. It works well at all tides, with optimal conditions when the swell comes from the NorthWest, West, or SouthWest, and the wind blows from the SouthEast or East. Accessing La Torchere is straightforward; from Bordeaux, head to Le Cap Ferret, passing through Le Canon and L'Herbe. After the cemetery, turn right and park near the concrete road, followed by a short walk of 5-15 minutes to the ocean. The spot remains relatively uncrowded during the week, with only a few surfers on weekends, allowing for a more relaxed surfing experience.
