Surf Heaven

Heaven - Vredenburg Peninsula Heaven is a powerful right-hand point break characterized by hollow, fast, and ledgey waves over a sharp coral and rock bottom. This small reef/point can handle swells in the 6'+ range, delivering thick barrels for approximately 80 meters. Best conditions occur in glassy weather or light northeast winds, while it struggles with strong winds. Accessing Heaven requires a good walk of 15-30 minutes and is best navigated with a 4WD vehicle and a local guide. The spot is relatively empty during the week, attracting only a few surfers on weekends. Known for its thrilling surf experience, Heaven is often sought after by Cape Town surfers during storm swells, making it a hidden gem in the wild area of the Vredenburg Peninsula. Be cautious of urchins and rocks while enjoying the exhilarating waves.
