Surf Forrest caves

Forrest Caves - Phillip Island Forrest Caves features a sandbar wave breaking both right and left over a sandy bottom with rocks. The wave can be fast and fun, but also powerless at times. It is accessible via a short walk (<5 min) after parking, located on Phillip Island. This surf spot is known for its beautiful conditions on good days, but can be less favorable otherwise. It works at all tides and is best with swell from the south to southeast and wind from the north to northeast. While the crowd is typically sparse during the week, expect a few surfers on weekends. Be cautious of potential dangers such as rips, rocks, and sharks, as well as the local wildlife, including seals and whales.
