Surf Cuttagee

Cuttagee - Australia Cuttagee features a beach break with both right and left waves, characterized by a sandy bottom interspersed with rocks. The spot thrives on a 2-meter swell, particularly during south or southeast swells, with optimal conditions occurring at mid tide and when winds are from the northwest, west, or southwest. Located approximately 12 kilometers south of Bermagui, access is instant, with parking available right in front of the break. The atmosphere is laid-back, but surfers should be mindful of local etiquette to avoid agitating the crew. The best months to surf are May, June, and July, when the waves are most consistent. While the weekdays see few surfers, weekends can get crowded. Be cautious of rips and undertow, which can pose dangers, especially during larger swells.
