Conspicuous Beach - Western Australia Conspicuous Beach features a reef break with both right and left waves, characterized by a sandy bottom interspersed with rocks. The wave can be hollow and powerful, making it suitable for experienced surfers. Access requires a 15-30 minute walk after driving east from Walpole to the end of Conspicuous Cliffs Road. This beach offers a dynamic surfing experience due to its shifting sandbanks, which can produce varying conditions each visit. The best waves are found at the far left end, but on optimal days, surfers can enjoy multiple breaks along the stretch. The beach remains relatively uncrowded during the week, with only a few surfers on weekends. However, caution is advised due to potential dangers such as rips, rocks, and sharks. Ideal wind directions are from the north and its swell typically comes from the southwest, south, and southeast.
